The apartment

A beachfront studio with the thing most studios don't have: a large terrace. There are sun loungers out there already, and room for a table, so breakfast and dinner move outside.

Inside, two single beds push together to make a super-king, and a sofa bed takes the third and fourth guest. The full bathroom has a walk-in shower. The kitchen has a stove, microwave and fridge, and there is a washing machine, an iron and board, and a hairdryer. Air conditioning and heating keep it comfortable in every season, and the WiFi is fast.

Three pools set in the tropical gardens — a shallow kids' pool (40cm), a 140cm pool for playing, and a 2m pool for proper swimming. Sun loungers €3 per day.

The location

Avenida Arias Maldonado 16, the heart of central Marbella, right on the promenade.

Step out and you're on Fontanilla beach. Marbella Old Town is a 10-minute walk, and Puerto Banús is 6 km away. Family-run tapas bars, cafés and supermarkets are all at your doorstep. No car needed.
